UK Grime
UK Grime arrives with a bang! Dropping the most current sounds from the underground UK Grime scene, from heavy tech-style two-step beats, menacing analog baselines and classic brass riffs and melodies. Grime is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged in London in the early 2000s. It developed out of earlier UK electronic music style called UK Garage, and draws influences from Jungle, Dancehall, and Hip Hop. The collection comes jam-packed with loops and one shots including: bass loops, drum loops, percussion loops, synth loops, piano loops, texture loops, music kit loops, FX loops, vocal loops and drum and melodic one shots. Inspiration for the collection comes from Skepta, Dizzee Rascal, Stormzy, JME, Boy Better Know, Wiley and more.
Grime Revival
Grime Revival is a comprehensive 24-bit collection that represents the distinct identity of an evolving and innovative genre. This subset of UK bass music is skillfully defined by employing some of the same signature equipment and sound processing as its pioneers. Overdrive, saturation, bit reduction and downsampling are all used in order to reach a sound that is simultaneously gritty and polished. The roots of the Grime movement can be traced back to UK Garage, Jungle and Dancehall being broadcasted across pirate radio stations in England. More defined styles for the music soon began to take shape in the form of 8-bar, nu-shape, and sublow. London’s own MC Wiley even coined his own Eskibeat variant that took inspiration specifically from dance music. Now, Grime has opened up to a variety of external influences beyond its initial foundations. Trap, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and House music styles can all benefit from the assortment of sounds in this pack.
