Cobra Drumline Volume 2
There's nothing quite like a drum ensemble. Maybe it's the serendipity of drummers playing together or the sound of drums combining acoustically in a room. The drumline has its roots in the military but has evolved into an art form that's influenced many hip hop producers, with several getting their musical start in a high school drumline or marching band. For this pack, we teamed up with the Harlem-based marching Cobras—a stripped-down seven-piece drumline that has all the components: bass drum, quad, tenor, two snares, and cymbal. Palestinian Roots with Zafer Tawil
Jerusalem-born and Brooklyn-based Zafer Tawil is an accomplished Palestinian musician who specializes in the oud, ney, vocals, violin, qanun, and Arabic percussion. Tawil performs worldwide and holds workshops in the oud technique and Arabic music theory. He’s continuously exploring the boundaries of Arabic music and has worked collaboratively on many concerts involving classical Indian and Persian music, as well as jazz fusion. For this pack, Tawil recorded the sounds of the oud, qanun, violin, dumbek, riq, ney, and frame drum. He layered multiple instruments and percussion together to create stacks of Arabic compositions. The result is a stunning compilation of the unique and shimmering sounds of Palestine with loops ranging from low to high BPM, as well as one-shots for total customization in your productions.

Elise Trouw: Beats You Can Sing: Drum and Vocal Pack
The Elise Trouw Beats You Can Sing: Drum and Vocal Pack is a collection of expertly recorded drums and vocals, exploring simple yet versatile drum beats and vocal performances to inspire your compositions. With loops ranging from 60 bpm to 180 bpm, this pack delivers a treasure trove of sounds to build a solid musical foundation, while adding a unique and expansive sonic quality. These samples were recorded at Singing Serpent in San Diego, CA utilizing the Neve BCM 10 with original 1073 mic-pre EQ’s. The vocals were captured by a Soundelux E47. The kit was made up of the Singing Serpent house kit, as well as Paiste Dark Energy crashes and hi-hats, and a Paiste Big Beat 22” ride. The sounds in this collection were mixed, produced, and engineered by Henry Lunetta, and assisted by Conor Meads - delicately adding analogue flavour to the sounds while leaving dynamic and sonic headroom for the end user to further manipulate, rework in their own production. Elise Trouw is a SoCal based multimedia artist blazing her own path by redefining what it means to be a musician in popular music today. The San Diego native has gained notoriety through her unique approach to music as an independent artist. Two weeks after uploading an innovative live looping mashup of Foo Fighters’ “Everlong” and “What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell, Elise caught the eye of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel who invited her to play on his show that same month. A few live looping videos and 30 million views later, Elise has continued to grow her online fan base around her artistry. 2Late4Me Part 2 Guitar Loop Pack by IOF
IOF presents the long-awaited sequel to the best-selling “2Late4Me” Guitar Loop Kit on the Traktrain Store! It contains 170 audio files of live-recorded guitar, with 52 directories that have several loops which can be used together on top of each other. Additionally, the author included a mixed preview of all of the samples for each folder. Certainly, those loops will find a way in any Emo Rap, New School or Trap beat very easily. Elegant Strings
Stylistically, Splice Originals: Elegant Strings takes a chamber pop approach, incorporating elements of baroque vocals and classical figures—all under the backdrop of modern pop harmonies. A home quarantine pack, it was recorded in a farm studio in New Hampshire by violinist and violist, Josh Henderson and cellist, Julia Henderson. You’ll find four-part harmony string arrangements with two violins, one viola, and one cello part each. Each voice was layered three times for a larger section sound. Although these arrangements are elegant in nature with a classical feel, the tinges of R&B and soul found in the harmonies lend these sounds well to modern productions across trap, pop, R&B, and soul.

Vintage Keys With Aron Magner
Warm vintage keyboards of a certain analog ilk decorate the wallpaper of our memories, filling us with a nostalgic glow often sought but seldom captured. Analog jazz keyboards, in particular, have stoked the fires of sample-based genres, from hip hop to house to hasn’t-been-named-yet. We enlisted Aron Magner and his keys to take us to that memory place. Magner is a jazz keyboardist, a founding member of Disco Biscuits, and the creator of the often-destination-based music festival Camp Bisco. More importantly, Magner’s got something right with his fingers. He showed us what’s what in the classic pop, disco, and jazz styles with some of our favorite vintage keys and some surprises, including his go-to synth: the Access Virus TI2. He also laid down melodies, bass lines, and chords on a Moog Model D, a Prophet T8, a Wurlitzer 200A, a Clavinet D6, a Juno 60, electric piano and Korg Poly 61. The drums came from the rare Gibson Maestro and Acetone FR1 drum machines. We recorded Magner’s performance through Neve 1081 and 1073 preamps and outboard effects.

Pepocket LoFi Drums is a collection of more than 200 loops and one shots recorded at Luna Studios in Los Angeles, CA by Chilean drummer & engineer Pepe Hidalgo Ramos. This pack features Pepe’s favorite vintage drums, which include a 60’s Ludwig and Slingerland bass drums, a 1920’s Leedy, 60’s & 70’s Ludwig and 70’s Slingerland snare drums, plus 1950’s Zildjian & Turkish Hi Hats, Dream Cymbals rides, and some custom modified Zildjian & Istanbul crashes. All drums and cymbals were also recorded in tandem with percussion to extend the sonic possibilities and create uniquely layered sounds. Pepocket includes a variety of processed, distorted, compressed, crunchy, roomy and powerful beats that will inspire your next project, with a massive range of tempos.
