Neuro Bass Vol. 1
Introducing Neuro Bass Volume 1! This is a pack of over 1000 samples with a focus on “neuro” and “neurofunk” sensibilities, yet they work nicely in any genre. “The idea with this pack was to share the results of our processing skills when it came to bass sound-design” says Gigantor. “A lot of hardware was used in the creation of these sounds: we wanted to go beyond the typical bass samples you might buy in your average pack, as we've been frustrated seeing the market flooded by samples that sound straight out of the software synth that created them. We wanted to offer our customers something different, so we came up with the concept of doing this pack.” In the process quite a bit of classic gear was used, including classic vintage drum machines for bass tones. Gigantor also re-acquired a small format mixing console legendary in drum and bass' golden era, known for it's analog idiosyncrasies, especially when it came to bass design. This, along with plenty of other tools, were used in the process and combined with many modern methods to make something unique that we hope you all enjoy! Contains: 1068 hardware processed oneshot bass samples in wav format, plus 10 BONUS patches for Xfer Serum.
New Appeal - 90s Hip-Hop
New Appeal looks back with a foot set firmly in 90s hip hop, taking influence from classic sounds while pushing it forward for the 21st century. Hip Hop producer and Brooklyn native Jimmy Q returns with a pack full of his usual complex and lush melodic loops written and processed with classic techniques. We then layered them together before resampling and chopping, creating classic cuts with all the dust dirt and texture you’d expect to find. Individual drums were created by layering live recorded drums with sound designed drum synthesis and run through all the right gear. Tight and warm drum loops transport you back without a hint of nostalgia. Expect a range of skilled sound design processes including deep pitching, tape saturation, downsampling, reverses and more. This pack is ideal for boom bap, study beats, hip hop, RnB and anything experimental and alternative.

As the latest installment of our quarantine series, violist and violinist Will Marshall recorded this pack in his home studio in Brooklyn, NY. He layered each instrument—two violins and one viola—eight times to craft the huge sound associated with disco strings. The resulting one-shots and loops are soaring, emotive, nostalgic, and perfectly tailored for French house, nu-disco, pop, among many other dance music styles.

Utilizing several pianos (a Model L 1916 Steinway grand, a 1988 Samick upright, and a weathered 1922 Aeolian player piano) along with various mic'ing techniques, pianist and producer Todd Brozman (Proud Creature, Moon Casual) explores impressionism from both a traditional and modern interpretation. Many samples were composed in conjunction with one another and in complimentary keys, allowing for harmonious layerings and juxtapositions. This pack provides endless options for producers looking to develop a piano-based score with natural development and stylistic cohesion, or musicians seeking loops and accents to add moodiness and color to a track.
