Modal Jazz & Hip-Hop was inspired by the sample selections featured on early boom-bap era records. It includes a range of expressive piano and keyboard samples, melodious saxophone riffs, soulful guitar, as well as some pre-made sample chops and song starters.

With sounds inspired by the likes of McCoy Tyner, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, and Wayne Shorter to name a few, this collection is primed for any producer who aims to recreate the vibes from hip hop’s most iconic era.

This pack is the follow-up from New York City-based producer collective half.cool, (Gabriel Garzon-Montano, Andrekza, Action Bronson, Wiz Khalifa) who have previously released the packs Torn Down: Post-Jazz Boom Bap via Sunday Supply, and Modal Jazz & Post-Bop via Sonic Collective.
