MPCs From Mars

These three MPCs represent the history of the iconic sampler so well, we’ve combined them into one super pack! As well as making music production accessible to a new generation of producers and musicians, their classic conversion make for some of the punchiest and grittiest drum sounds of all time. The MPC 60 is one of the best sounding samplers ever, and has shaped the sound of classic 90s hip hop, R&B and house music with its unmistakeable grit, warmth and punch. The drums are fat, thick and analog sounding, full of 12bit artifacts and noise that sound beautiful when tidied up a little with filters.

The MPC 3000 debuted in 1994 during the golden age of hip hop. It expanded on the MPC 60 most notably with stereo, 16 bit sampling, a delay, and an excellent sounding filter with brilliant resonance and envelope modulation. Together with its signature sequencer groove and clip-able input, this made the MPC 3000 perfect for early 90s drum shaping, and became a genre-defining staple for the top producers of the genre and independent artists alike. 

The MPC 2000 XL is legendary in its own right. These drum samples have been filtered, clipped and edited in the MPC, as well as processed to perfection with external hardware. This pack contains WAV files organised into 46 kits - 20 from the MPC 60, 20 from the MPC 3000, and 6 from the MPC 2000XL - for a total of 754 samples.
