DrumDrops are delighted to announce the release of Beats N Breaks from session drummer extraordinaire Adam Betts and world renowned bassist Eric OKafo. With over 390 royalty free loops (and hits) with tempos ranging from 95pm to 174bpm, Adam and Eric take us on an amazing musical journey through all things Beats n Breaks. dam takes us on an incredible rhythmic journey taking inspiration from grooves form the original groove masters such as The Meters, Bernard Purdie, Bobby Byrd, Fela Kuti and Harvey Mason. Adam then takes these classic crate digging influences right up to date with a collection of stunning high tempo high octane loops designed to bring your tracks to life. Adam’s Tama, Ludwig, Pearl and Noonan drums along with his Sabian Cymbals were recorded thorough Londons legendary Livingston Studio’s CS75 Powered by Neve desk utilising its onboard 1073 preamps, each nuance captured by a selection of mic’s from mic’s by Neumann, Royer, AKG, Shure and Sennheiser. We truly enjoyed producing this collection in the knowledge of it being far from just another run of the mill loop pack, we truly believe these beats will add that extra special edge to your productions. Eric’s selection of Fender, Lakland and Status basses were recorded through various DI boxes into a Neve 1073 Preamp, these were then re-amped when required through a vintage Amgeg B15 amp and various vintage synth/ effect processors from Moog, Roland, Musictronics, Electro Harmonix and many more. We truly enjoyed producing this collection in the knowledge of it being far from just another run of the mill loop pack, we truly believe these beats and grooves will add those extra special elements to your productions.
