Hank Drum Exp 01: Cinematic Motions is an independent addition to the Hank Drum family and aims at creating rhythmic landscapes, crisp percussive sounds and interesting sonic ideas that inspire. All of the loops, stems and one shots were created from original Hank Drum recording sessions. Bryan is a master at mangling and mixing sounds into something completely new. He converted the already fantastic source audio into over 1900 samples of driving and compelling sonic material.

Inspired by Jazz-Rap/Golden Era Hip Hop samples from the early 90’s that contained so many instruments chopped up from vinyl. The Soul Surplus team intentionally crafted smooth yet gritty loops that are full of musicality and instrumentation giving ode to a time that was all about sampling. You’ll have access to over half a gig of sound containing more than 150 melodic loops, and stems, as well as over 200 one shots! Everything from guitars, keyboards and synths, to drums and even a special trumpet appearance on the loops give so many possibilities for creating—all played by our in house team of professional musicians. Finally for authentic texture we had samples processed through a tape machine, as well as having some instrumentalists cut to tape, for added vintage warmth. Lo-Fi Cuts - Soulful Jazz Beats
Origin Sound has dived deep into the creative archives to produce a vast Lo-Fi library in the guise of Lo-Fi Cuts, full of rich environments and samples that possess a wealth of character and personality. A meticulously crafted selection of drum loops lay the foundations for Lo-Fi Cuts which includes separate stems for easily interchangeable patterns, in addition to a range of bonus percussive foley-infused loops to add finesse to your percussion. Additionally, the vast selection of 120 single drum one shots allow you to create your own beats from a variety of different drum hit timbres. Of course as with all our Lo-Fi focussed packs Lo-Fi Cuts comes with a range of song-starter samples. These are music layers consisting of multiple layers, such as an emotive piano chord progressions with a delicate guitar lick and warm bassline. These song-starters provide you with the ability to spark your creativity with ease, whilst immediately enriching the detail in your production by subtly adding all the typical Lo-Fi characteristics. Dulces Sueños: Spanish Pop
Dulces Sueños: Spanish Pop is a pop inspired collection of all-female spanish language toplines, phrases and spoken word vocal samples. With meticulous detail, we worked closely with a spanish speaking, world-class vocalist to capture the essence of Latin vocals, heard across Billboard and worldwide charts. In addition, we’ve included a stunning selection of accompanying guitar chord progressions, steel stringed acoustic rhythms, synths plucks and songstarters. Taking notes of inspiration from iconic Latin and American pop collaborators such as DJ Snake and Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendez and Camilla Cabello and spanish singing pop stars like Rosalîa, JLo and Shakira. We aimed to create a pack that speaks to both acoustic, singer-songwriter pop and electronic DJs and dance producers. As always, our samples are guaranteed original, written and recorded in-house through a high-end all-analog chain with specialised vocal treatment and processing by producer Charlie McClean. All sounds in this pack are 100% royalty free and ready to make hits.
Ilan Rubin: Drum Samples & Loops Sample Pack
Ilan Rubin is an iconic drummer, percussionist, singer, and songwriter who's played with Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, and Angels & Airwaves. He took over the drum chair with NIN at just 20 years old and in 2011 joined Angels & Airwaves, playing not just drums but also guitar, bass, keyboards, singing backing vocals and helped write the music on ever since. Born in 1988, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with NIN in 2020, making history as the youngest ever inductee. In addition to his lasting impact on those influential acts, Rubin has been the frontman and creative force of the band, The New Regime since 2007, in which he sings, plays all of the instruments in the studio, and plays guitar in their live performances. He is also now releasing fresh solo music under his own name.
Modern Trap Vocals & Rap Acapellas Vol. 2
After the huge success of our first vocal sample pack it only made sense to follow up with the sequel. Modern Trap Vocals & Rap Acapellas Vol 2 treads the same ground as the original but the sounds provided in Vol 2 are in a class of their own. This sample pack contains 200 high-quality trap vocal loops and rap one shots inspired by Modern Trap Music, UK Drill, and Grime and performed by South London MC, Jamell René. The vocal recordings took place at pirate studios in Notting Hill, West London while the mixing and post production was carried out by Skit at the Komorebi Audio studio in Herts, UK. To capture the bass heavy and gritty tone of Jamell’s voice we opted to use an SM7B broadcast style microphone and ran it through a Neve Preamp plugin and a classic LA-2A replication from Universal Audio. The recordings are provided as dry vocals (vocals with minimal processing and no fx), wet vocals (vocals featuring delay reverb and other classic vocal fx) and glitch vocals (vocals heavily modulated, retriggered and creatively mangled). If you are looking for high quality and authentic trap vocals and rap acapellas, this sample pack has got you covered! IMPORTANT NOTICE This sample pack contains only vocal samples. All other sounds from the demo track were taken from the Komorebi Audio sample packs “UK Drill & Crepuscular Trap” and “Night Glow Trap Melodies”.

Cobra Drumline Volume 2
There's nothing quite like a drum ensemble. Maybe it's the serendipity of drummers playing together or the sound of drums combining acoustically in a room. The drumline has its roots in the military but has evolved into an art form that's influenced many hip hop producers, with several getting their musical start in a high school drumline or marching band. For this pack, we teamed up with the Harlem-based marching Cobras—a stripped-down seven-piece drumline that has all the components: bass drum, quad, tenor, two snares, and cymbal. We achieved a larger drumline sound through overdubs.

Nashville Essentials - Modern Country
What kind of country music sample label would this be if we didn't dedicate a pack to Music City? Home of country music, Nashville, Tennesee's foundation is deeply rooted in musical tradition. It became a national center for music publishing in the 1800s and the Ryman Auditorium - the “Carnegie Hall of the South” - was built in 1892. The first musical act to embark on a world tour came from (and was supported by) Fisk University, putting Nashville on the map as a global music center. The radio station WSM and its launch of the broadcast later called the Grand Ole Opry was established in 1925. The 1930s saw Jefferson Street transform into a lively hub for music and entertainment. When rock & roll began stealing the global spotlight in the 1950s, the city's music industry developed the Nashville Sound genre to revive country music sales, replacing the rough honky tonk music that dominated the scene with smooth strings and choruses, sophisticated background vocals, and smooth tempos associated with traditional pop. Throughout the decades since, Nashville's music scene has evolved, morphed, and spun off several sub-genres and styles of country music. With roots so deep, however, there will always be a certain sound associated with Music City, and this pack captures it. Born and bred Nashville musicians Kate L. Malone (Sam Hunt, Alana Springsteen, Emma White) and Devin Malone (Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, Carrie Underwood, Ingrid Andress) performed the sounds for this pack. Kate is a producer and songwriter with over ten years of experience in various music industry roles from songwriter to producer and theatrical music director. She has written and produced songs that have appeared in TV shows and movies for ABC Family, Freeform Network, MTV, and Summit Entertainment/20th Century Fox. Kate was also the first female producer ever included in the esteemed ASCAP GPS Program. Devin has played on more than twenty #1 country songs and countless Top 40 County Hits. Focusing on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, pedal steel, dobro, and mandolin, Devin is a sought-after utility player both in recording sessions and as a touring musician.

A cross pollination of styles has given us the chance to document, create and deliver one of the most left field Psy collections to date. Just on sample numbers alone, this Psy Breaks sample pack will fill your heart and studio with inspiration for months to come. Turkish Roots
Take an expedition through the rich sonic landscape of Turkey and parts of Egypt and Iran led by Istanbul Music Conservatory-trained musicians. The trio played traditional tunes with quarter tones and folkloric tunes from all over Turkey. They made these sounds using traditional Turkish instruments including the bendir, daf, darbuka, and riq for percussion; the kaval, kawala, and ney flutes and zurna plus duduk reeds for winds; and the electric baglama. The results are eclectic sounds both sultry and celebratory in character. The music of Turkey is some of the most uniquely mesmerizing, able to capture the attention and interest of anyone within ear's shot. Let these rare sounds inspire your productions.

Splice Originals producer Xan Young teamed up with retro soul outfit the Youngtones to reimagine what types of sounds the pioneers of hip hop would want to work with today. Latin Stacks Live & Resampled Vol 2
Latin Stacks: Live & Resampled Vol. 2 is the newest installment of our popular Latin Stacks series and continues to pay homage to the classic rhythms, melodies, and live instrumentation of the Latin countries. This collection was inspired by songs of yearning that conceal themes of love, heartbreak, conflict, and celebration. Created in collaboration with Arthouse Acoustics, we recorded live upright pianos, dusty trumpet stacks, spirited acoustic guitars, and moody double bass. Crackling vintage Latin vinyl blend with the sounds and spirit of grindhouse and exploitation cinema.The Arthouse Acoustics team created full compositions and song sections and recorded with professional session musicians. These ‘stacks’ are included as full loops and also soloed layers. We curated the best selection of loops and one-shots from the performances and chopped and sprinkled FX for instant inspiration.We resampled the compositions, creating loop layers that combine the sonics of rare vinyl with modern left-field sound design. Using classic hip-hop chopping, pitch and time, reversing, saturation, and secret sauce, the samples could inspire trap and rap as easily as house, pop, and EDM.We also recorded traditional Latin percussion rhythms and essential live percussion one-shots. Time Travel - Resampled Soul
Splice Originals producer Xan Young teamed up with retro soul outfit Youngtones to create this hip hop production toolkit, incorporating learnings from over 300 packs. Time Travel: Resampled Soul contains a wide variety of instruments recorded in a '70s soul throwback fashion. These recordings were mixed together and then printed through an Anamod ATS-1 tape emulator for ear candy songstarters ripe for sampling. The loops were resampled using MPC-style techniques with beats and drum one-shots added. The drum programming and resampling were influenced by the greats—Dilla, RZA, Timbaland, and Flying Lotus. The soul music elements were influenced by the Chi-Lites, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, the Delphonics, and more. Because who doesn’t love the 80’s, right? For some, this is a taste of childhood; a look back at what got us into music to begin with. For others, this is nostalgia re-inserting itself into some of today’s coolest and most successful songs. Inspired by classic drums sounds from Phil Collins, Tears for Fears, Don Henley, Madonna, ‘Til Tuesday, and Springsteen, these drums rewind the clock back to the year circa 1985, while keeping your feet planted in the modern aesthetic of today’s music. 1985 comes with both multiple velocity and one-shot samples as well as presets to help you get started. We cut these drums in a huge room on Neve preamps with top shelf condenser and ribbon microphones. And for some additional 1985 flavor, we then pushed them through an AMS RMX16 reverb. The multi-velocity samples are mixed with Dry, Natural, Big and 2 AMS settings for a classic mid-’80s sound.

FJAAK are Aaron Röbig and Felix Wagner, a Berlin duo that grew up playing live techno and became the young faces of the city's techno scene. They were embraced in particular by Modeselektor, finding home on their labels 50Weapons, Monkeytown and Seilscheibenpfeiler while launching their own imprints Spandau 20 and the self-titled FJAAK. Their sample pack offers a versatile but dependable take on their energetic techno sound, giving stabs, textures, drums, basses and loops that reflect their high-level engineering skills, love of hardware and penchant for effective yet unusual sounds.

Live guitars, classic electric piano, unique vintage synth tones and ghostly voices were treated with guitar pedals, tape emulations and dusty reverbs. Drums and percussion feature drum loops dripping in character, unique snares and live percussion one shots. Every loop has been meticulously tagged and tempo-synced. Aaron Sterling is your favorite drummer’s favorite drummer. For a lot of us, when we mic up the drums and hit record, Aaron’s the end result we’re hoping for. So imagine how excited we are to feature the first signature drum sample library from the man himself. Aaron’s feel is expressive. Every note means something. His style is singular. In a lot of ways, he’s the industry standard for that Cali, grubby, lo-fi, over-processed, LA sound. If you’re familiar with his work at all, you knew we weren’t going to make it too far into this description without mentioning his work on John Mayer’s last few albums. We could spend this entire description on his resumé because it isn’t shy ... and neither is his drum sample library, Sterloid. This library boasts 5000 + multi-velocity samples and nearly 200 total loops. What this library brings to producers and mixers is special. We’re not just talking about playing some kick, hat, snare combinations onto some good drums into some good mics. Nah. Aaron pulled out metal sheets, appliances, toys, and other strange gadgets to capture some of the most compelling samples. But if kicks, snares, and hats, are your thing, there are plenty of those as well ... in multiple velocities with round robins at the top for an added sense of realism. The samples inside Sterloid are usable and versatile. And the grooves? They just keep coming at you. They feel so good that when they stop you keep going. Much like its namesake, it’s not hard to see why this Sterloid pack is a winner for producers and mixers.
