Highly Strung: Emo Trap Guitars explores the melancholy, guitar heavy sounds of emo trap and rap production. With spaced out lead lines, plucked strings and strummed progressions dripping in dark textures. Contemporary soundscapes and heartbreak motifs to perfectly complement hard 808s and drums.

We recorded a range of live acoustic and electric guitars, expertly performed by pro session musicians with a variety of amps, pedals and mics. The best of these performances were transformed into loops, guitar stacks, unique songstarters and heavily resampled to create new ideas. From emo guitars drenched in chorus, delay and distortion to clean loops ready to add your own fx and layers.
