VOX presents ‘Focal Point’ by Michael Bruner. Since the release of his debut artist pack ‘ASMR Soul’ the young producer has received numerous requests for vocal stacks and a capellas with that same intimate singing approach. Bruner first pack received praise from the likes of Oliver (of Powertools), Lenno and Connor McDonough after reaching #6 on Splice’s popular charts. It also led to collaborations with the likes of M Phazes and Midi Jones on Alicia Creti’s single ‘Pity Party’ where Bruner’s subtle background vocals and harmonies can be heard. 

Bruner’s new pack ‘Focal Point’ draws a sonic parallel between light and sound. Bruner says “the process of recording the voice is like an auditory focal point. The sound reflects off the walls and then converges when it meets the microphone capsule. Not to mention the majority of this pack was created in the presence of natural light. I used a minimal recording setup which put more focus on ideas rather than gear. That’s just the direction I’m going in life as I let go of old behaviors and ways of thinking, so I’m glad it came through with this pack. It’s a lighter version of me.”
