Indie Tapes From Mars

Inspired by lo-fi bedroom pop and retro home recordings, Indie Tapes is a warm, nostalgic blend of vintage synths, electric guitars, acoustic drums, rhythm boxes and more - all recorded to tape. This pack captures the desirable interplay of analog gear and tape-saturation through deeply musical songwriting and instrumentation.

With an assortment of one-hits and loops, the drums are a dreamy fusion of acoustic kit and analog rhythm boxes, captured through a mix of high-end consoles, vintage mics, compressors and tube preamps and then creatively re-pitched on tape and processed to ooze with analog flavor. 

The melodic side is just as powerful: swirling wurli riffs, fuzzy guitars, jazzy chords, ear-candy arpeggios, iconic synth leads, sunburnt pads, and smooth basslines from classic, analog synths and bass guitar.

Add it all up and you have the shimmer of '70s psychedelia, the intimacy of bedroom recordings, and a pop sensibility that feels timeless yet fresh. With a variety of tape textures, warble and hiss from various reel to reel machines, these loops are perfect for producers chasing golden hour tones, breezy hooks, vibey grooves and the lush sonic imperfections we’ve all come to love.
