Trip-Hop & Downtempo offers an assorted archive of masterfully crafted and curated sounds highlighting the expertly curated, designed and processed using an endless selection of raw melodic material, drum hits, breakbeat sessions and organic instrumentation, no expense was spared in crafting a collection rooted in rich, warm detail and solidly swung production tools rooted in organic feel. Various loops and one-shots were ran through tape and cut to vinyl to add an authentic character and texture to their productions.
Filter House
Disco debauchery, jackin’ house workouts, and filtered french touch. Filter House offers a selection of expertly crafted and curated sounds from vinyl-printed resampled funk cuts, raw house beats, repurposed melodics, gritty synth lines, and twisted FX, drawing influences from French house, deep house, and indie dance. Filter House offers an assortment of drum hits and one-shots to deliver full-track inspiration in a bespoke collection capturing the sonic timestamp of an underground movement that influenced producers for years to come. Filter House is the result of several studio sessions working with various analogue drum machines and synths. We composed and reworked funk/disco style loops to capture the authentic filter and French touch style sound. For extra quality and character, we’ve cut all the filter and resampled loops for proper vinyl dust, crackle, and dirt to further authenticate the process and techniques synonymous with the era and the sound.

Anime Soundtrack Strings and Keys is a unique sample pack filled to the brim with enchanting and emotive orchestral and piano arrangements influenced heavily by the soundtracks of Japanese produced anime and video games such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda. The pack contains over 1.1GB of awe-inspiring sounds including cute and intriguing plucked strings, emotive orchestral swells, tear-jerking piano loops and sampler ready one shot recordings. Summer Breaks: Resampled Soul Stacks plays the role of the crate digger to its companion pack Summer Breaks: Vintage Soul Stacks, created in collaboration with Arthouse Acoustics. Paying tribute to classic soul motifs and vintage rhythm & blues compositions, we took these true-to-era samples and chopped and re-processed to create inspiring melodic loops and boom-bap style soul loops. Modern inspiration coated in vintage warmth and saturation. We resampled the original live compositions and raw stems, creating loop layers that combine the sonics of rare vinyl with modern left-field sound design. Using classic hip-hop chopping, pitch and time, reversing, saturation and secret sauce, the samples could inspire lofi beat making and hip-hop, trap and rap or even pop and house. All sounds are 100% royalty-free and every loop has been carefully key tagged and tempo-synced.

For this pack, we teamed up with the multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and music producer, Stuart Bogie. He recorded tenor, alto, and baritone sax, as well as flute at his studio in Brooklyn, NY. With the intention of establishing a sound reminiscent of classic 1970s soul, these ideas were layered with electric piano, Wurlitzer, piano, guitar, bass, and a vintage Arp Odyssey. The sounds in this pack were inspired by the likes of legends Roy Ayers, Isaac Hayes, Lonnie Liston Smith, and Minnie Riperton, among others of the time. You’ll find stabby horns, swelling electric pianos, crunchy organs, and warm tones throughout. These samples are the sounds of summer sunshine rooftop hangs.

Among a busy week at Amsterdam's ADE festival 2015, Travis Stewart AKA Machinedrum dropped by the Rubber Tracks Amsterdam pop-up where he experimented with the studios collection of vintage gear. Throughout the day-long session, Travis explored the wide range of sounds and recording techniques available at ARC Studio including a electric piano Chroma, Juno 60, classical guitar, and Telefunken M15 Tape Recorder.
