An ode to all our introverts out there, “a preface to a goodbye” aims to highlight the emotion and turmoil expressed naturally through the emotive guitar and sounds of the niche world of slowcore. Inspired by classic bands like Duster and Mogwai as well as modern artists like Cigarettes After Sex and sign crushes motorist. The sounds of this pack have been compressed, saturated and resampled carefully to further capture the void and longing of slowcore.

Chris Harbach (aka Chinese Cigarettes / Mid-Air! / Lo-Tek Larry) is known for his high output and consistency as an engineer and producer. Releasing over a hundred full-length albums, EPs, and beat tapes over the past decade, he’s constantly reimagining and refining himself as an artist and musician.
